i feel so betrayed when a product i use changes without any indication. can we as a society just decide that’s unacceptable? it makes you feel crazy. print the version number on the side of the box, it’s not that hard! reeee
You did what I could not! I remember seeing that tweet as well and even went so far as to search for Ganymede. But with poor olfactory sensibilities I couldn’t bear to buy any liquid priced at $16k/gallon. Alas, this post makes me curious yet again. Where does one go to smell these things in the Bay Area, I wonder?

I'd recommend against buying it by the gallon! There is a real possibility that it's more than you need.

Ganymede seems to be a hit. My strategy would be to search for perfume store on google maps then check their website to see if they stock it. I'd personally pick a shop specializing in perfume rather than e. g. a general cosmetics store. I tested my strategy and one of the first results were ZGO Perfumery in San Francisco, and they do stock it: https://www.zgoperfumery.com/marc-antoine-barrois-ganymede-eau-de-parfum/

So, the strategy looks viable!
Thanks! And I just checked and Lysergic Acid Diethylamide looks like it costs $375k/gallon so...I guess Ganymede isn’t the most expensive liquid 😂
